Tobias Frei is a Munich-based Motion Designer and Art Director creating custom motion templates and design packages for international brands, bringing their identity to life across trade shows, live events, and social media.

Originally from Munich, he studied at Offenburg University of Applied Sciences (2015) and earned his Diploma in Motion Design at the renowned Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg (2018). In 2019, he worked in Sydney with Mighty Nice and other animation studios before returning to Germany in 2020, spending six years in Cologne and relocating back to Munich in 2026.

In Germany, he has collaborated with studios and agencies including Unterhaltungsfernsehen Ehrenfeld, 27KM, Elastique. and Jangled Nerves, alongside direct clients such as ARD, Carl Zeiss, zooplus, and HAKRO. His recent work includes multiple flagship event productions for the BMW Group, among them IAA Preview 2023, MINI IAA 2023, BMW International Press Conference 2024, BMW World Premiere 2024, and BMW FutureCon 2025.
